It's now a week and 3 days since dad had his surgery and he's been back home with me and Sheila since Monday. He's been a bit up and down - some times feeling good, and sometime feeling quite poorly - but overall it's easy to see that he has come a long way. He can walk around around quite well and although he still gets a little puffed out he recovers really quickly now and I'm sure this will improve a lot more over the next week. He's still not eating very much but then he's not really burning the calories - hopefully that'll steadily improve as he becomes more mobile.
If the weather stays good at the weekend we'll see if we can get him walking a bit further than he has so far.
